The entire Mediterranean region boasts incredible weather with Cyprus as its figurehead for ideal conditions year round. There are no extremes in Cyprus making each day temperate and pleasant. The summer holiday season can extend into October with people swimming sometimes well into November.

The summer comes in mid-May heating up all the way through to October. The sea gives a lovely breeze to ease hot days, but don’t expect many clouds to provide shade as the sun shines brilliantly throughout the summer with little threat of rain. Look for summer seaside highs of 31°C and inland temperatures reaching 35°C occasionally. Autumn begins in mid-October with notably cooler evenings, but still quite warm days averaging 26°C. Winter is still a popular holiday time with golfers and visitors to the Troodos Mountains with daytime highs of 18°C and lows of 8°C, but do keep in mind that winter is a much wetter season.
